Shipping Terms
SHIP CHARGES: FOB Loyal , Wisconsin. If you wish to know the actual ship charge prior to shipment, please call us.
Most of our products are shipped by Spee-Dee, UPS or freight line, within 24-hours of your order; or they are picked up (pick-up hours are 7:30 AM – 11:45 AM and 12:30 PM – 4:45 PM, Monday – Friday, unless other times or days have been prearranged).
Freight lines will often ship directly to your customer’s farm, if there is adequate room to maneuver a semi- trailer; a solid, plowed surface is available to drive on; power/phone lines are located minimum 15’ 6” above ground; and help is available to unload heavy and/or bulky items.
NOTE: Some freight lines charge an additional $35 to $60 for this direct-to-farm delivery. The freight line will usually call your customer one-day before delivery, to arrange a time for the customer to help unload. This delays delivery until the following day.
FACTORY PICK UP: Vehicles must have proper sides and ends to safely contain the load. Haulers must
furnish their own tie-down materials to secure the load.
Shortages and Claims
SHORTAGES AND CLAIMS: BEFORE signing for a delivery, match number of pieces per driver’s delivery receipt to physical quantity delivered. Also check for visible damage, such as a hole punched in a box (forklift tine may have damaged product). Note any shortages or damage (clearly describing, such as: hole, dented or crushed corner, wet condition, etc.) on driver’s delivery receipt (and contact carrier for an on-site inspection before attempting to repair item or moving item off-site) OR refuse order (it will be returned to us for inspection, and a new order will be sent to you with no additional charges). If you discover concealed damage after the order is unpacked, promptly contact the carrier for an on-site inspection (save the shipping container and all packaging materials). BEFORE signing an inspection report, make sure the damage description is accurate and complete. Contact us if you need assistance in filing a claim.
NOTE: Concealed shortages must be reported to us within 10-days of delivery.
